Let’s be real—life on the road with dogs means lots of stuff. From muddy paw towels to backup leashes and all our adventure gear, keeping the RV (and my sanity) organized is a non-negotiable.
Whether you’re full-timing it, weekend-warrioring, or just want your gear dialed in, here are four RV storage solutions I personally use and love. These have made our mobile life so much easier—and yes, I’ve tested them all with my adventure crew of dingoes.
Heads up: Some of the links below are affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission (at no cost to you!) if you decide to buy. I only recommend what I use and love.
1. Kelty Car-Go Box
What I Use It For: This is my favorite for organizing “camping essentials” that we take in and out of the RV or tent setup—like my Fire Maple, hammocks, tarp, and while I am using it in the camp other things we like to set up on the picnic table.
Specs:
- Weight: 5.07 lbs / 2.3 kg
- Volume: 2838 in³ / 46.5L
- Dimensions: 12” H x 12” W x 19.5” L

Why I Love It:
- Comes with 3 packing cubes for built-in organization
- Folds down flat when not in use
- The colors and fabric quality are chef’s kiss
- Great for both RV life and car camping
Perfect for when we’re switching from RV to tent camping and need a grab-and-go gear bin. Bonus: It’s super lightweight but holds a lot more than you’d think
2. Milwaukee PACKOUT™ Large Tool Box
What I Use It For: This is where I keep all our RV tools, maintenance supplies, and random “just-in-case” items. I’ve got a water filter, hammer, power tools, drill, and repair kit in here.
Specs:
- Dimensions: 22” x 16” x 11”
- Weight Capacity: 100 lbs
- Features: Impact-resistant polymers, metal-reinforced corners, weather-sealed (IP65), interior organizer trays

Why I Love It:
- Looks way more legit than a plastic tote
- Built to last—perfect for RV adventures and rougher handling
- Weather-sealed for outdoor use
- Stackable and part of a modular system if you want to expand later
Let’s just say this box could survive a dog park stampede—and still look clean doing it.
3. Adventuridge Canvas Storage Bag with Clear Top (from Aldi!)
What I Use It For: I grabbed two of these and use one for all the dogs’ outdoor gear (like life jackets, hiking booties, packable bowls), and the other for our human outdoor stuff (pickleball paddles, hammock, pool & beach tots, etc.).
Specs:
- Dimensions: 17.7” x 15.7” x 7.8”
- Features: Clear top, rip-stop weave fabric, heavy-duty zipper, two carry handles

Why I Love It:
- The clear top means I never have to unzip 5 bags to find something
- Only $14.95 at Aldi—steal!
- Stack perfectly on top of the Milwaukee Packout
- Easy to carry in and out of the RV
Dog moms, these are the bags to toss into the truck bed or cargo hold without thinking twice.
4. Adventuridge Canvas Travel Bag (also from Aldi!)
What I Use It For:This one lives under the RV bed and holds all our extra bedding, sheets, and blankets—aka the cozy stuff you want access to, but not all the time.
Specs:
- Dimensions: 24.8” x 15.7” x 12.2”
- Features: Heavy-duty fabric, bound seams, reinforced carry handles, wrap cover grips

Why I Love It:
- Sturdy but soft-sided, so it molds under the bed nicely
- Large capacity—I fit 4 camping blankets, a sheet set, and pillowcases, and a sleeping bag in one
- Handles make it easy to pull out without wrecking the whole under-bed storage area
Helped to clear out some storage above the bed!
Be on the lookout for part two..
I am a sucker for some good organizers and have my eye set on a couple more sets…
